My Grow Well Story

In all honesty though, this was the first time in about year that I had my hair and makeup done, a cute outfit, and a clean house all at once. Most days call for leggings, a tshirt, a hat, and some dry shampoo (exhibit b).

Motherhood hit me like a ton of bricks. It has been the most eye opening and transformative journey.

Postpartum care is not what it needs to be. Our healthcare system’s support for our recovering mothers and developing babies has some serious gaps in it. Identifying needs, finding the right providers, waiting for insurance authorizations..It seems like getting help for yourself or your baby is a series of constant hoops to jump through.

This is one big reason why I left a traditional healthcare setting to create Grow Well PT. I want create a trusting, nonjudgmental, educational space to work with babies and their families in their environment.

Parents need support now more than ever. Their concerns need to be heard, they need quick access to the right help, and they need a treatment approach not dictated by third party payers.

My hope is that Grow Well provides this support and helps to fill these gaps in some small way. ♥️
